Megan and Michael's wedding was great at Chapel Hill up near Bilpin on Saturday 24th October.

What a wonderful wedding !
The day was crisp and cool with plenty opf light rain that lasted pretty much the entire day.
Megan & Michael had their ceremony in the quaint little chapel that's located within the grounds of Chapel Hill Retreat and it was beautiful.
There is a lovely big stained glass window in one end of the chapel to which the sun shone brightly through highlighting the beautiful workmanship and colours of a bygone era.
Once the ceremony finished, we had to move quickly in order to get some photographs outside the chapel because of the drizzly weather. from there we all moved along the track to the reception area, also located within the grounds.
The theme was black & white with the tables beautifully decorated highlights to match Megans' dress which had exquisite black & white detailing on it.
We got some great shots during the reception and as murphy's law would have it, as the final few guests were ready to leave, the rain dissappeared and the sun poked out between the clouds.
The men arrived in a beautifully restored Willys style army jeap which worked great.
It was a beautiful wedding and I enjoyed it immensly.

Melanie & Andrew's big day
Andrew and Melanie's wedding was heaps of fun.
Melanie and her sisters got ready at their mum and dads home whilst Andrew and the boys got ready at a house only 5-10 minutes away in the next suburb, which worked well allowing photographs of both Melanie and Andrew to be taken. It was a very relaxed mood overall which worked well into their images. Leaving Melanie's parents home, they proceeded to the church in an array of awesome cars like a GTS Monaro and some new model GT Ford's..jpg)
After the church service, we all headed out to a nearby park where we got some beautiful images of Melanie and Andrew and then with the bridal party and their cars.
We all then went back to the reception venue at the Hawkesbury Race Club where the party continued on. This is quite a lovely venue in the Hawkesbury area where the views look out towards the Blue Mountains.
we got some great shots and Andrew and Melanie were very happy with their large wall prints I produced for them. As was Melanie's mum and dad - the take pride in their home on their favourite wall.

Steve & Natalie's big day ...
Steve & Natalie's wedding would have to be one of the most enjoyable weddings I've had the pleasure of attending.
The day started out quite warm however by the time we had left Natalie's parent's home and got half way to the church at Granville, the weather started to turn ugly. It was lightly spitting as the cars turned into the street the church was on and by the time Natalie was to step out of the limo', the heavens started to open and the rain started to patter down. Luckily it was light enough to not be too much of a worry to her and we got a couple of good shots of Natalie running for the church doors assisted by umbrella carrying limo drivers.

The church service / ceremony was traditional and beautiful and once all the guests had given plenty of hugs and kisses outside to the newly married couple, it was then onto the famous, beautiful and very majestic Curzon Hall in Marsfield. We got some beautiful shots around the sandstone lined verandahs and also images inside the building with the beautiful big stair cases. Steve and Natalie partied on until midnight in style. It was great.
It's funny too how certain things can trigger emotions and memories. Natalie and her father danced to an Andrea Bocelli song which, even though it was sung entirely in Italian, it was one of the best songs I've ever heard and it suited that moment so much. I liked it so much it's now frequently played on my CD player both at home and in the car.
Anyway, after the wedding I delivered their albums and both Natalie and Steve loved them. They sent me the lovely thank you letter posted below :
"Dear Grant,
Steve and I wanted to let you know that we really appreciated everything you did for us on our special day. Your professionalism was outstanding. The photos that we have received are absolutely wonderful. You have captured some very special moments. We have recommended you to so many of our friends and will continue to do so. Everyone that see's our wedding photos comments on how well they were done. You have given us more than just our wedding photos, they are memories that we will cherish forever. I was very impressed from our first meeting and I was able to relax and know that every moment would be captured. Thanks again for everything you have does for us, we love our photos and loved having you as part of our special day."
Yours sincerely
Natalie and Steve Sullivan
